Historically, dentists have had to sacrifice healthy tooth structure to restore teeth. Virtually all crowns, veneers, onlays, and even fillings required healthy tooth structure to be removed either to access decay or to provide space (or draw) for a restoration.

It allows Dr. Ahmad to restore teeth that used to require crowns with a much more conservative option. We can replace only the missing or diseased parts of the tooth, leveraging all of the healthy, natural tooth structure to allow us to rejuvenate the tooth.

3D Implantology

Dental Implants are an outstanding restorative option for patients who have missing teeth or require tooth extraction because of advanced disease or decay. A dental implant is a threaded titanium post that is surgically inserted into the jawbone to replace lost tooth roots.

With 3D implantology at our office, our in-house CT scanner generates a 3-dimensional view of the patient’s jaw, which is combined with 3D intraoral impressions and then uploaded into our implant planning software to allow us to perform virtual surgery prior to the actual procedure.

Advances in computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) allow the fabrication of highly accurate surgical guides that facilitate precise implant positioning and allow for faster healing and more predictable outcomes

Smile Design

Smile design involves a comprehensive evaluation and a series of high quality digital photographs of your facial structure, gums, and teeth to aid in planning a smile restoration that is artistically balanced to bring out the best in your features. After your initial smile design consultation, your ideal smile and tooth proportions are designed on a computer which is then fabricated into digital “after” photo for your review. This process provides a great opportunity for the patient to visualize what the final results will optimally, also aids in the design of your final smile before any treatment is initiated, yielding predictable results.
